Michael Chadwick – Owner
Experienced, Professional Wedding Celebrant
I started out as a wedding photographer in 2008 and photographed more than 400 weddings before finally retiring to become an officiant during the 2020 pandemic. My first wedding ceremony performed was in 2021, and pretty soon I was performing more ceremonies than photographing – and I love it!
I am based in Medford, NJ and I am legally able to perform wedding ceremonies in NJ, PA, NY, DE, and MD. I am also happy to register as an officiant in any other location with sufficient advance notice.
I spent three decades as an opera and musical theater performer, audiobook narrator, and public speaker. My voice has been used in many projects including audiobooks, film narration, and composer's demo recordings.
I married my wife Suzanne in 2008, and when you read my ceremonies it becomes clear how much I love and appreciate her. When your officiant is madly in love with their spouse, it just helps inform a more sincere and heartfelt ceremony text for your own wedding!

Michael has performed services for hundreds upon hundreds of weddings since entering the industry as a photographer in 2008. He is also honored to perform funerals, including the Masonic Funeral Service. He is licensed to perform weddings in NJ, PA, NY, DE, and MD and has performed wedding services in both the U.S. and abroad.
Sean Barry Parsons
Officiant
Sean is an engaging and experienced performer and voice artist. He joined the Chadwick Weddings team as an officiant in 2025. Sean is licensed to legally perform wedding ceremonies in NJ, PA, DE, and MD.
