I had the distinct honor and joy of being the Terrain Gardens Doylestown wedding officiant for Julia and Jason's wedding celebration. It was a little chilly in the late March afternoon, but everyone was in great spirits and looked their best for the ceremony. Julia and Jason had a fully customized wedding ceremony text. They opted for The Perfect Fit package.
Julia and Jason met right at the start of the pandemic in March of 2020, so many of their early dates were video calls and streaming movies together over Discord. They went on many hikes and ate a lot of take out since nothing was open to public gatherings. Another fun connection they share is playing the New York Times' "Connections" game together before going to bed. They connect frequently together with movies and board games, and enjoy just being together for a shared meal. They love to travel abroad, or just enjoy a dance in the kitchen when the right song is playing.
Julia and Jason shared vows they wrote for each other. A few extra tissues needed to be handed out. Once the vows and rings were exchanged, I had the pleasure of pronouncing them husband and wife before getting the heck out of the way for the kiss.
