I was honored to be the West Deptford NJ wedding officiant for Karen and Toby's intimate wedding ceremony at Riverwinds. It's a beautiful place with stunning views of the Philadelphia skyline and the Delaware River. Karen and Toby were surrounded by loving friends and family as they exchanged vows and rings. Karen and Toby both looked amazing, but it wasn't their outfits that were making them glow. Their love story is a beautiful one, one which for the sake of their privacy I am not going to share here. Suffice it to say, there were many happy tears being shed.
I enjoyed getting to know Karen and Toby during our planning for their ceremony text. I also enjoyed working with their photographer Jess Reid, who was kind enough to share the lovely images below. Don't let the optical illusion of the image with me in it fool you. I'm not that tall, I was just standing closer to Jess in that moment!
It's always special when I get to perform a wedding ceremony in an intimate setting. Somehow the ceremony becomes more focused, more profound. It is a beautiful moment to share with my couples, one I am grateful for no matter how often I am fortunate enough to perform it.
