This is a very helpful tip video that will help you avoid the disaster of a broken dress train on the dance floor. With tens of thousands of views on social media accounts, this is by far the most popular wedding tip I've ever recorded - and for good reason.
If you change your height, your train will drag. Period. People will step on it, and the bustle will break, as it's designed to do in order to prevent the dress from tearing.
There are two easy solutions to help avoid this:
1) Don't change your height. If you're going to change your shoes to something you can dance in, make sure those shoes (or platform flip-flops) match the height of your wedding ceremony shoes.
2) Get your bustle measured while in bare feet. If you stand bare foot on the floor to have the height of your bustle measured, when you take your shoes off to dance, you'll already be at the perfect height to keep your bustle from dragging!
