Guests Not Returning Your RSVPs On Time?

Don't let rude guests not sending in their RSVPs in a timely manner cause you stress. Here's a great way to ensure you have the responses and guest counts you need, when you need them!

No response is a "No" response!

Make sure you set a deadline for your RSVP (literally "Respond If You Please" in French) far enough in advance that you have a solid idea of guest count when your venue needs it. And, make sure there are a couple of additional weeks to deal with the stragglers. In your invitation, provide the deadline and multiple easy ways for your guests to provide a response. Track those responses in a spreadsheet or some other method that will allow you to sort by the non-responses.

One important way to ensure responses is to tell your guests, right in the invitation, that no response by the deadline is a response that they will not be attending your wedding.

Once the deadline hits, contact all of the guests who did not bother to respond, and let them know (nicely) that you are sorry they won't be able to attend your wedding. Watch how fast some of them respond!
