There is a sometimes bittersweet component of being an officiant that helps couples with eloping in NJ. I get to meet such kind and lovely people for such brief amounts of time. Couples and their families often come into my life for less than an hour. I leave them happy that I met them, but a little sad that I probably won't see them again.
A marriage license signing is quick, often taking less than 15 minutes. I truly enjoyed meeting Sagar and Sanika, as well as their family members who were there for the signing. We all got a laugh over the difference in our height, and enjoyed taking a photograph where I had to sit down in order to be seen with them!
