You very likely heard me tell you this during our initial meeting, but here's a quick reminder why it's so important to make sure you get everything done a week or two (or longer) before your wedding day.
Time to Breathe
I've officiated the weddings of far too many couples who were just exhausted and wanted it to be over. Is that what you want? Of course not! Give yourself a couple of weeks before the wedding where everything is done. It's a very important breath to take. Going into your wedding day well rested and without stress is definitely the way to go.
Time for that One Thing you Forgot
Have you ever tried to proofread your own writing? It's almost impossible, because you're too embedded in it and your brain is automatically filling in what it thinks is there, not what is actually there. Your wedding planning process is no different. If your brain is muddled up with all of the last minute things, it won't have time to clear space and let you know about that one thing you forgot.
